Mail Drops

Hello All,

Due to the recent inquires about people wanting to send us gifts, we figured it would be easier to cover it here. We decided that we will start putting the address of our next stop at the end of each blog post. We will post the address a couple of weeks before we get to our next location so that there will be plenty of time for the mail to arrive.

 

The next couple of towns that we will be in, we will write the address in the format EXACTLY as it should be written on the package/letter. We are not trying to sound like Nazi's, we just don't want the package to get lost with other packages that hikers are sending to the same address. Right after the address, we will write the date that the package should be sent by. If you are sending after the listed date, please ship to the next location. The sooner you send it the better just in case we develop some mad trail legs and start hiking really fast!

This is by no means a post that should make you feel like you need to send us anything! We simply enjoy reading your comments and getting updates of the happenings in your lives. If you do feel inclined to send us something (and THANK YOU in advance!), please remember that we have to carry everything on our backs (no Mom, we do not want to carry a cast iron skillet). Some items that would be enjoyed are letters, baked goods, dehydrated foods, whiskey, crossword puzzles, or any other lightweight item that you can think of. Shoot us a message if you are sending something so we know to check for the package.
